The Basket of Apples

This painting is done by Paul Cezanne. I’ve seen it many times before and it was exciting for me to see such a famous work when I was in the Art Institute of Chicago. I looked at this work in a different way than I previously had because of the drawing class that I’m currently taking. This class has made me think about composition more, and all the different aspects that go into setting up a still life, so this painting was a good example of composition for me.
